Today a man came to tell us about eels.
His name was Don and he is an eel expert.
He told us about some eel facts and appearance.
This is some facts he shared with us...
- Eels are slimy because they need to slip throw narrow things
- There are Longfin, Shortfin, Moray and Spotted eels
- Their ear bone is used to tell how old they are
- Eels can see and and smell very well
- They can spin around ten times a second
- The female is bigger than the male
- Eels get caught for testing of age
- They are metamorphosis that means they change shape
- There is a factory that gives you money when you catch eels
- Eels don't like sunlight
